Sacred Heart Pastorate
Holy Kids Camp
At the end of May it was a great joy to put on Holy Kids Camp at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Pastorate in Mitchell with the help of our Pro Ecclesia Sancta brothers and priests! This was a three day summer program for over 60 youth K-5th grade developed by our sisters. It incorporated dynamic activities, songs, games, and more all geared to help children grow in their relationship with God. This year the theme was God's Masterpiece: Discovering who I am in the Eyes of God.

Camp Goretti
At the begining of June, in collaboration with the Diocese of Sioux Falls we put on the third annual camp Goretti. This is a three day girls camp that incorporates times of prayer, reflection, talks, small groups and lots of fun to help girls grow in their relationship with God and openness to their future vocations. This year we were blessed to have 45 girls from all over the diocese, sisters from four different religious communites, as well as both highschool and college age counselers.

Sacred Heart Family Retreat
In preparation for the solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, nearly 50 families joined us at St. Michael's Parish in Sioux Falls for a day retreat put on by our priests, brothers, and sisters. With time for adoration and prayer and activities and talks for all ages, this day was a dynamic encounter with and a deepening of our call to return the great love of the Heart of Jesus! These families will then make their consecration to the Sacred Heart at the Solemnity Mass on June 12th.

Our Ministries
in the Sioux Falls diocese
Our mission and work both aim at the same goal: holiness! We are grateful to the Sacred Heart of Jesus who has brought us here to remind everyone of our call to be holy, living out and sharing our charism with the Sioux Falls diocese. Our service to the local Church includes families, children and adults in the parishes, work with the students and staff at the O'Gorman Schools and other Catholic schools around the diocese, as well as college ministry. We are blessed to be able to help lead retreats and camps, provide spiritual formation opportunities and hope to spread the love of the Sacred Heart to each person we encounter.
